My name is Alma Mentz, I thave been a team member of the Monticello Family for 4 years. During the past four years I have taught 5 year old Kindergarten. A little about me, I graduated from Monticello High School in 2008. I am a college graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. During all my years of studying education I have always found that being optimistic and believing in yourself was a must. If I am positive about myself and to the people around me I can help those people stay positive as well. I have choose teaching as my career because helping children and watching them grow has always made me happy. I also have a almost 7 year old son, Tanner, who will be in first grade this fall in Monticello. I will be starting my fifth year teaching in Monticello and am making the switch from 5 year old Kindergarten to Pre-School or 4 year old Kindergarten. I am so excited to be able to start the school year and the love of learning within the minds and hearts of the children that pass through my doors.
