Pre-K-12 Principal/Director of Instruction Email
Dear Families of Monticello,
It seems like yesterday I began my career here, and I am now starting my Ninth year. During my time in Monticello I have witnessed some amazing things in our school. One aspect that I am overly impressed with is the professionalism and dedication our entire staff exhibit. Our staff is dedicated to making this school better every day and putting the needs of the students first.
As I begin my ninth year as your principal, I look forward to building on the excellence that I have witnessed from our students, staff, and community. I strive to challenge our staff to become better educators in order to challenge our students to become better well-rounded individuals. I am a firm believer in giving respect, modeling it on a consistent basis, and then demanding all students do the same. I feel that RESPECT is a life-long skill that should be exhibited daily.
I encourage you to take an active role in your child’s education by asking questions, picking up a book and reading with them, sitting down and helping them with their homework and most importantly communicating with them. Together, we can make great things happen in our school. Our children will benefit from teachers and families working together to prepare our students for the next phase of their education.
I am a firm believer that communication among teachers, students, and families is a key ingredient that leads to success for our students. It is essential that the lines of communication are open among teachers and families, in order to express concerns as well celebrate successes.
If there is anything that is a concern or something you would like to share, please contact me and I would happy to meet with you. Again thank you for taking the time to browse through our webpage and……GO PONIES!!!!
