Music Parents

Monticello Music Department and Monticello Music Parents would like to thank our volunteers, attendees, and especially the following businesses for their generous donations toward our 7th Annual Cabaret Dinner.  The money we raised will provide scholarships to graduating seniors, instrument purchases and repairs, purchasing music, and other financial responsibilities of our Music Department.  A portion of the money raised this year is going towards bringing Reed Grimm - Season 11 American Idol contestant - to our school to celebrate Music in our Schools Month!  Thank you to:

Monticello Music Parents is an organization dedicated to enhancing the musical programs at Monticello Schools. Through both financial support and volunteer hours, the Music Parents play an important role at our school. Monthly meetings are held about 9 times throughout the year. We assist in the annual fundraisers for both the band and choral programs. Music parents have provided funding for band trips, chorus trips, awards, equipment, music, t shirts etc. We are seeking new members as the current volunteer group are all parents of high school students. We need grade and middle parents to participate in order make sure our group is here to support the Music Department for future generations. You do not have to have children in school in our to be a Music "Parent". We welcome anyone who wants to see success in our music program. Please contact one of the current board members  or the Band or Choral directors for more information on how you can help keep our musical programs strong.
