Requirements:

The applicants for this scholarship must be of good character and high moral standards. Preference may be given to applicants who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism through participation in school and/or community activities, plan a career path with direct connection to human services (examples: social work, medical, teaching, law enforcement, etc.). Additional preference will be given to an individual who has shown an ability to overcome hardship in their personal life. Applicants will also be judged on citizenship, leadership and academics, financial need, and life experiences.

Requirements:

 Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or university, and be a two-year varsity award winner in athletics. Applicant should also have a record of volunteer work, leadership, and involvement in a variety of extracurricular school activities.
