🎄What an incredible day!
🍗Our Community Holiday Meal and 🎵Concert brought together nearly 675 people today - far more than we've ever served before. It was wonderful to see our families and community gather together to share a meal and enjoy our students' musical performances.
💙Thank you to everyone who participated and for your patience as we navigated such a large crowd. Days like today remind us what makes Monticello special - our community coming together to celebrate and support one another.
😊We're already looking forward to next year!
Green County Humane Society shared three puppies🐶 with us yesterday. We gave them lots of love💙 for our pet therapy day.

This morning, Sergeant Degner of the Green County Canine🐕🦺 Unit and Monticello Police Chief Regenauer 👮 visited our school. Students experienced a soft lockdown while the building was swept for illegal items. 👏We're proud to report that nothing was discovered.
This canine check ✔️is just one of many safety measures we take throughout the year, including random bag🎒 checks, regular safety drills, and a large-scale reunification drill planned for this spring. While school safety isn't always easy to discuss, we recognize the importance of staying prepared as we care for Monticello's most precious resource—our kids.
We're grateful 💙 to Sergeant Degner, Chief Regenauer, and all our local law enforcement partners for their continued support in keeping our school safe.

❤️Talk about kind gestures... a few members of the Pony Brew Crew stood outside Gempeler's and braved the cold to ring bells 🔔for the Salvation Army.
🎉👏Congratulations to these PBIS winners! They were chosen because they lived up to the October theme of kindness. Even Mrs. Homb was a winner, but are we really surprised by that? 😉
