🫶We are deeply grateful to the Green County Sheriff's Department for their generous donation of three 10-foot kayaks to the Monticello School District. These kayaks have proven incredibly versatile, serving students of all ages throughout our summer school programs and enhancing our physical education and health curricula during the regular school year.
While we are fortunate to have a beautiful lake and numerous small rivers in our area, we are even more fortunate to have such a supportive Sheriff's Department that consistently finds meaningful ways to invest in our students and families. This donation exemplifies the community partnership that makes our educational programs stronger and more engaging.
💙A heartfelt thank you to Sheriff Knable and the entire Green County Sheriff's Department for their continued commitment to our youth and community.

👏We're also excited to officially welcome Mr. Pickett as he begins his tenure as our PK-12 Principal! What better way to launch a new era of leadership than with this kind of community spirit and support.
🐴This is exactly the kind of community involvement we love to see and hope to instill in our students as we live out our mission to have "Monticello Values Grow World Ready Citizens." When our community members step up to serve like this, it shows our students what it means to give back and stay connected to the places that shaped them.

🚣♂️🚣♀️Monticello Ponies River Rats! It was a great day on the Sugar River for our second annual summer school paddle!
🏕️The 3rd annual Monticello Schools summer school camping trip this year was to beautiful Kohler Andrae State Park in Sheboygan. 🌞Our students enjoyed sun, Lake Michigan waves and dunes, campfires, tent sleeping, and just a little rain. 💙A good time was had by all!
