⭐Talented Thursday Spotlight⭐
Last week, Westen brought his guitar to music class and played a song for his classmates.

He was showered with balloons by staff and students the last 2 days. Plus, the Spanish 3 class serenaded him with a birthday song - ¡Feliz cumpleaños! 🎈🎵

Kaylee wowed us by weaving an entire backpack out of pony beads—yes, a backpack! Her creativity and craftsmanship caught the eye of Mrs. Bernardo, who loved it so much she asked Kaylee to make her a purse. The results? Absolutely stunning.
Beautiful work, Kaylee—you continue to amaze us with your talent!

😊How amazing is it that these dedicated educators get to share their days with their little ones right down the hall? And how lucky are these kiddos to have their parents so close by while they learn and grow with their friends!
🤗A huge thank you to Mrs. Street and Mrs. Meyer for taking such wonderful care of all our four-year-olds. We know these little ones are in the best hands, even when mom or dad is just a few steps away. 💕
💙This is what makes our school community so special - we're truly one big family!

🐱We have partnered with the Green County Humane Society for HS Flex and Focus. Today was pet therapy day. Students were about to love on 3 cute kittens who need a home. Students can't wait for next month.

😊Our senior athlete posters are up and looking good!
💙Thanks again to the Booster Club and Monticello Works for providing these for our seniors!

😊We're thrilled to report that the new routes have proven successful and very manageable. Our amazing bus drivers have shown incredible flexibility and ingenuity, ensuring our students arrive safely and on time while keeping ride times reasonable.
👉After our transportation meeting today, we've decided no further route changes are needed at this time. However, as we head into colder weather and potentially icy conditions, please be aware that pickup/drop-off times may occasionally be affected. We'll communicate any weather-related adjustments directly with our bus families.
🤗Thank you again for your understanding as we worked through this transition together. Your cooperation made all the difference!
P.S. - We hope you have "The Wheels on the Bus" stuck in your head now, just like we do! 🎵

🫶What a supportive community we have... Once again, the Monticello Lions Club provided funds for school supplies. Thank you for your continued support of our students!

🚌💙A few more pics from today's 4K bus ride...

💙Thanks to Mrs. Street and Mrs. Meyer for helping organize this valuable learning experience and for their dedication to raising responsible young citizens.

🧠🌱📈The middle school has been focusing on growth mindset for our September character trait. So far, they've made a growth mindset wall and had to save Sam (a gummy worm) as a team.
