🎉What a fantastic way to kick off our 2025-2026 school year! Yesterday during our in-service, we were thrilled to have two incredible school board members join us for a spirited "pony welcome." Sally and Laura - both proud alumni, dedicated parents, passionate school supporters, and now committed board members - brought amazing energy and gave our staff such an inspiring start to the year.
👏We're also excited to officially welcome Mr. Pickett as he begins his tenure as our PK-12 Principal! What better way to launch a new era of leadership than with this kind of community spirit and support.
🐴This is exactly the kind of community involvement we love to see and hope to instill in our students as we live out our mission to have "Monticello Values Grow World Ready Citizens." When our community members step up to serve like this, it shows our students what it means to give back and stay connected to the places that shaped them.
💙Thank you, Sally and Laura, for your enthusiasm, your service, and for reminding us why we love being part of the Monticello family! Here's to an amazing year ahead!
