Monticello FFA members competed at the Wisconsin FFA State Land and Soils🌱 Judging Contest at UW-Platteville on Wednesday, October 7th. 🥉Third place was earned by both the Sr team and the Jr team.
⭐The senior team qualified for national competition in May at Oklahoma.
Senior team contestants are Beau Hoesly, Annie Olson, Olivia Christen, and Avery Smith. The junior team consisted of Teige Jurrens, John Wettach, Harper Hartwig and Billie Aulik.

Middle School Sources of Strength💪🧠 team had their annual training last week. Lots of laughs😄 and growth. This year a couple of our peer leaders who have been in for a couple of years led some of the groups. 💙Big Thank you to F.A.I. T.H. for providing funding support!
🐶Pet Therapy day today for high school students during Flex and Focus. 💙Thank you to Green County Humane Society for sharing two fun pups with us today. You brought us lots of smiles🥰.

A HUGE thank you to Monticello Vet for hosting our mini field trip and giving us such a fun, hands-on look at what it’s like to be a veterinarian! 🐶🐱
Our little learners got to see a real X-ray of puppies in a mama’s belly, pretend to draw blood, listen to heartbeats, scoop pretend kitty litter, and explore so many different parts of caring for animals. And, of course, the highlight was getting to meet TWO adorable baby kittens! 🐱🐱💕
We are so thankful for the opportunity to learn through real-life experiences and for everyone who made our visit so special!
A special thank you to Mr. Brokopp for taking us on the bus to the vet AND giving us a practice bus ride. 🚌 Our 4K friends had SO much fun!

Monticello FFA Officer Team ready for the hayride after the Monticello FFA Alumni Cookout on October 4th. Jim and Jeanne Gempeler generously hosted the fall gathering as many FFA Alumni and Supporters gathered for 🔥campfire cooked brats and hot dogs🌭, and a pot luck lunch.

Good times in social studies today . . . made balloon globes in 6th grade and kicked-off our Monticello history unit in 7th (right as Mr. Cappelle happened to be walking by our classroom, so he came in and taught the rest of class😉. I love the things we do at Monticello Schools!💙🫶🏻🤍🌎

💰🎓🏦Last night Senior students and families from Monticello & New Glarus benefitted from a Financial Aid Presentation by Katie Sprunger from Edgewood University. They gained great information about how to plan for the expenses of a post-secondary education, whether they plan to attend a 2 year technical program or a 4+ year university. 🤗Thank you for assisting our students with their journey to further education Ms. Sprunger!
