The 7th graders attended the Midwest Outdoor Heritage Education Expo (MOHEE) where they participated in outdoor related activities like birdwatching🐦, turkey calling🦃, wildland firefighting🔥, wildlife identification of furs, skulls and scat, casting a fishing pole, etc...

💰📈The Investment Club had a guest speaker today... Chris Tierney, Managing Director of Merrill Lynch, came in to talk about investing and to answer any questions in regards to it.
Last week, Evan Feller, Bryce Aquino, Levi Johnson, and Kiefer Watkins traveled to Oklahoma to compete at the National Land and Range Judging Contest🚜🌾. While in Oklahoma, the students practiced soils judging🌱 while also touring the Oklahoma National Stockyards 🐂🐄and the Oklahoma National Memorial and Museum🏛️.
🤩As a team, these four FFA members ranked in the top 50% nationally while Evan Feller scored 23rd overall as an individual. 😮This is the twelfth time that Monticello FFA has competed at the national contest and these boys had the 2nd highest score of all 12 teams. 🎉Congratulations on their success at the contest, and great job representing our chapter! 💙Special thank you to the Monticello FFA Alumni and Supporters for funding this unique and memorable experience!!!

Last group of pics for the Day of Service focused on🔴 bingo at Friedensheim; 🍪cookie decorating and cookie drop-off at the New Glarus Home; and a 4K stuffed animal🧸 drive (students brought in and collected stuffed animals to donate to local police and firefighters as a way to comfort children during scary or difficult moments).

The 7th graders chose to read books📖 about disabilities in English. They then had to plan projects that fit these books.
Rayden's project (moving around the classroom in a wheelchair and reflecting on the experience to raise disability awareness) was the project the 7th graders chose to do.
