What a beautiful spring morning to be a Monticello Pony! 🌞
Two big events are converging today, and there is a lot of wonderful activity happening in and around our community. Keep your eyes open! 👀
💙Our 2026 Day of Service is underway. Approximately 300 Monticello students are fanned out across the community right now, pitching in, giving back, and making a difference. Projects are planned through lunch, so if you spot a group of students at work in your neighborhood or around town, please give them a wave. They have earned it.
🌭At midday, we will gather together for a cookout before wrapping up the day. Watch for lots of great pictures to come, including photos from a very special moment this morning when we will honor our nation's 250th birthday and take an all-school photo in our Day of Service shirts, generously sponsored by Bank CMG.
🫶It is also Staff Appreciation Week. In Monticello, we celebrate everyone who has a hand in educating students and supporting our families. We want to give a huge shoutout to Sabrosura Cheese, the Klossner family, Sugar River Bakery, Francois Construction, and Parrfections for their generosity in helping make this week special for our incredible staff. Your support means the world to us.

As the school year comes to a close, we are excited to begin planning our summer strength and conditioning program for our student-athletes!
To keep communication easy and organized, we’d love for both you and your student to join our SportsYou team if your son or daughter is interested in training during the summer or during the 2026-2027 school year. Please note that students do not need to be participating in a sport to join; this program is open to anyone interested in training and staying active. This app will be our main communication platform for both our summer program and the entire upcoming school year.

Summer Fitness Program Details:
High School (HS) Slots:
6:00 AM – 7:00 AM
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Middle School (MS) Slots:
7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (4 days per week)
Wednesday: Available as a make-up day for any athlete who needs to miss one of the regular training days.
