☺️We’re happy to announce that the Monticello School District was awarded a Grants 4 Schools award from Active Youth Wisconsin.
🏓This grant allowed us to purchase a new table tennis table, along with new paddles and balls. We’ve been using two older tables for a while, but this addition finally gives us enough equipment to officially add table tennis to our PE curriculum. It’s been great seeing the students get more active and involved with the new gear.
✨The funding for these grants comes from community donations and the annual Birdie Derby race held in Fitchburg every Thanksgiving.
💙A big thank you to Active Youth Wisconsin for providing these resources and helping us bring more variety to our students' activities.
