On October 30th at 1PM, we will hold a school evacuation drill. First, we'll conduct a lockdown, then law enforcement will assist in releasing students/staff to a reunification center. This drill follows our ongoing school safety training throughout the fall. Local law enforcement and fire department will manage the procedures. We expect the drill to last under an hour. Afterwards, please use it as a teaching moment. Nothing is more important than keeping our students and staff safe, so practicing these procedures is critical. Thank you for your commitment to school safety.

Last week the Monticello Fire Department 🚒 guided the 4K students through the smoke house to show them how to get out of a home with smoke in, GET LOW AND GO! Followed by an awesome fire truck ride!
